Glowstar Empire

Mysteriously transported to an ancient space station, you must fight your way home in this metroidvania style top down space shooter!  Explore the ruins of this long dead empire and win new abilities! 

This game was made as part of the Metroidvania Month 16 game jam by a very dedicated team!  We slaved away for a month to bring to life a taste of what could be a much larger game.  We hope you enjoy it!  Please let us know what you think and if you'd like to see more!

Controls

Controls are rebindable.  Gampad and keyboard are supported.

The default bindings are

Movement  - WASD or DPAD (left joystick)
Shoot - Space or A button
Interact - E or B button
Missiles - M or X button
Afterburner - Control or Left shoulder button

Note:  Must interact with Save stations to save.  Saving is not always automatic.
